I’m Rhys, a passionate photographer and social media manager based in Cambridge, and I currently head up events and social media at Campkins Cameras, where I help shape the city’s photography community. With years of experience in both the photography and social media industries, I specialise in capturing the essence of life’s most important moments, from corporate events and weddings to sports photography.
As a professional photographer, I pride myself on delivering high-quality, vibrant imagery that tells a story—whether it’s a brand’s corporate event, the big day of a wedding couple, or the intensity of an athletic competition. Each project I take on is an opportunity to create something meaningful and memorable, tailored specifically to my clients' needs. In addition to photography, I’m also a skilled Social Media Manager with a broad range of experience across multiple industries. My approach is customised to each client, ensuring that their online presence is engaging, authentic, and strategically aligned with their goals. From planning and executing content to managing campaigns, I focus on delivering results that enhance visibility and build lasting connections. In my spare time, when I’m not behind the lens, you’ll find me on the football pitch as a semi-professional football referee within the Football Association. I operate at the Supply League and Contributory level of the English football pyramid, traveling across local counties to officiate games. The discipline and focus I bring to refereeing complement my photography, where attention to detail and decision-making are equally crucial. It’s a role I’m passionate about, and it keeps me connected to my love for sport in a unique way. I believe in bringing a friendly, approachable touch to all of my work, and I love collaborating with new clients to bring their visions to life.
